Vinson Real Estate Group is a residential and commercial real estate brokerage based in Los Angeles, serving families, investors, and businesses across the region. We help clients buy, sell, lease, and develop property with clear guidance, practical strategy, and deep local knowledge.

VINSON was founded with a focus on thoughtful growth, sustainability, and long-term value. Our team brings together experience in real estate brokerage, architecture, urban planning, design, and public policy, allowing us to approach each project from both a market and development perspective.
We are also a certified minority business enterprise and have worked on projects throughout Los Angeles that combine real estate expertise with environmental responsibility and community impact.
Robert Vinson, Founder
Robert Vinson founded Vinson Real Estate Group and leads all aspects of brokerage, development strategy, and long-range planning. A second-generation Angelino, Robert has spent his career working at the intersection of real estate, public policy, and urban development.
He began his development work in the late 1990s as a principal at Mekeel-Vinson, building affordable single-family housing and community facilities throughout greater Los Angeles. He later returned to the University of Southern California, where he graduated with honors, to lecture in the LA Semester Program.
Robert has been quoted in major publications and has appeared on television discussing real estate and public policy. He has also worked in national and international public affairs, including producing Vice President Al Gore’s New York presentation that led to An Inconvenient Truth, and organizing communications and research for President Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Vice President Gore, and Senator John Kerry.
He has served in leadership roles with nonprofit housing organizations and state advisory boards, including Alternative Living for the Aging, the California Criminal Advisory Commission, and the California State Export Finance Board.

Amber Murphy
Amber Murphy works across market-rate brokerage, development, site acquisition, and finance. She previously managed commercial and residential properties and brings a background in psychology, finance, and community service. Amber holds a degree in Psychology from UNLV and is currently completing her Master of Social Work at USC.
Eric Vinson, AIA
Eric Vinson is a licensed architect and design-builder with international experience designing resorts and residences for private clients and global brands. He is a distinguished graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s School of Architecture.
Darlene Montano
Darlene Montano is an Emmy-nominated set decorator and fine artist who designs interiors and landscapes for private estates and entertainment projects. She brings a strong design and visual perspective to residential and commercial properties.
Wendy Bruget
Wendy Bruget brings a background in political science and international relations, with experience advocating for business and cross-border initiatives. She has worked with regional and international leaders on economic development and sustainability efforts.
